• 1997-2000 – involved in cave explorations and research during study in Faculty of Biology, Gadjah Mada University
• 2000 – cave survey in central Sulawesi with Central Sulawesi Conservation Park
• 2001-2003 – researcher in Maros Cave and karts Biodiversity Project, RC Biology LIPI funded by ARCBC in cooperation with MNHN Paris
• 2002 – fieldwork on BAU LIMESTONE Project, Sarawak Malaysia
• 2003 – joint fieldwork with Thailand team in Phang Nga Karst, Southern Thailand
• 2003 – Muller Expedition: surveying cave biodiversity, Central Kalimantan
